Online To-Do & Tasks – sync with devices, share with others

Organize, access and share your tasks and to-do list – with Wunderlist

Here is another hybrid device as you can use this application via only a web-browser or you may also select to download (Windows and Mac only) and work off-line and have any new tasks automatically synced to your other computers. If you decide to use just the web-interface, you still have full access to all the application features and can access using any browser on any Operating System (Mac, Linux, and Windows). They also have apps for the iPad and work on iPhone and Android mobile devices.

Share your task lists with others for assistance, work collaboratively on project tasks, share on Facebook, Twitter and sited.

Review of Basic App Features:

  • Create unlimited to-do and tasks list
  • Select background display panel of your lists/tasks
  • Drag tasks up and down a list (reorder/prioritize)
  • Star important tasks
  • Add notes to tasks (provide more details and information)
  • Search feature- search through your list of tasks
  • Assign due dates and search by All, Today, Tomorrow, Next 7 Days, Overdue, etc
  • Have tasks delivered via email to yourself to be alerted of due dates (nice if you do not have an iPhone or Android but still want to get to your list on your mobile device)

Summary Review and Grade

  • Registration Required – Free
  • Downloading NOT required and you have full access while just using the web-based interface
  • Installation Required – Free and only if you want to automatically sync specific computers or work off-line
  • Works on All Web-browsers
  • No Technical Experience Necessary
  • Works Cross-platform – on all computer platforms – Web-based only – sync installation only for Macs & Windows
  • Unlimited tasks & easy to use application
  • Accessible from mobile devices (iPhone & Android only) and iPad

We had to deduct a little in the grade due to some platform (Linux not included in the OS download and not accessible on all mobile devices) and tasks limitations (no setup for recurring events/tasks) but if you are looking for a nice and easy to use app for your to-do list, tasks, etc, then take a look at Wunderlist.
